Dr. Mauro DiPasquale

Dr. Mauro Di Pasquale is one of the most influential voices on diet, performance and athletic training in the world. His innovative work in finding safe nutritional alternatives to anabolic steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs has won him praise from athletes, trainers and fitness experts around the globe.

Dr. Di Pasquale was a world-class athlete for over 15 years, winning the World Championships in powerlifting in 1976 and world games in 1981.

Today he balances a busy career as a licensed physician in Ontario, Canada, with his demanding schedule as a consultant and researcher.

Over the years Dr. Di Pasquale has worn many hats. He was an assistant professor at the Univ. of Toronto for over a decade up until 1998. In the early to mid 1990s he served as Drug Program Advisor for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and World Bodybuilding Federation , and Medical Review Officer for the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). In 1997 to 1999 he was involved in research and product development for Experimental and Applied Sciences (EAS) and was a member of the EAS Scientific Advisory Panel. He is certified in North America as a Medical Review Officer and Master of Fitness Sciences At present he is President of AllProTraining.com, a premier sports, nutrition and exercise Internet Site.

During Dr. Mauro Di Pasquale’s long career he has written several books and hundreds of articles on nutrition, sports medicine and drug use for a variety of international magazines and journals. With these books and articles and as editor-in-chief of the quarterly newsletter Drugs in Sports and the bimonthly Anabolic Research Review, he brought his expertise to the international community for more than two decades.

In 1995, Dr. D P released 2 new books. The first, The Anabolic Diet, presented a diet program that was hailed as the first effective, no-nonsense alternative to anabolic steroids. Since it was first released, The Anabolic Diet has become one of the most popular bodybuilding diet books ever and has achieved almost a cult status.

The second book, The Bodybuilding Supplement Review, provided a reliable, in depth look at the many nutritional supplements on the market, and brought a much-needed breath of fresh air to an industry long noted for wild claims and ineffective products.

In 1997, CRC Press published Dr. Di Pasquale’s authoritative book Amino Acids and Proteins for the Athlete – The Anabolic Edge. This book has been claimed as one of the best books ever published on the topic of amino acids, proteins and nutritional supplements.

In 1999, Dr. D P co-founded, and is President of AllProTraining.com, an internet based company that is geared to help anyone maximize their training and dieting experience.
