Q & A on “Diet Supplements Revealed” by Will Brink

Will. Though I enjoyed your e-book and did learn many facts about several of the products I have used in the past, I did not think it was as cutting edge as Priming The Anabolic Environment. I am not complaining and I am still happy I purchased Weight Loss Nutrient Revealed. I think people who know their stuff will find this a great reference guide while the people who are confused about all the products offered out there will find this new book a life saver, or should I say money saver! People should be aware however that this book is about what is already out there rather than a book that focuses exclusively on some esoteric new supplements. I enjoyed the Ten Tip Guide but it was not as bodybuilding oriented as I would have liked. Matt K.

Matt. Thanks for your comments. Below is something I posted to the news group misc.fitness.weights (MFW) a while back regarding this new book and it may help you to understand what my intent was for this book. Also, as you mentioned Priming The Anabolic Environment, I got many of the same comments about that book as you made for this new e-book. Many people felt there would be more in depth info on some topics. However, over time, many of those same people later told me that the more they read the book the more they realized how much info was jammed into Priming. I think you may find the same for this new e-book in the nutrient section. There are a few twists and turns, tips, etc. that even up to date people like yourself will find useful. For example, did you already know that CFM whey had GMP and ion exchange did not? Had you read about Globin Digest before and how to use it? Did you know about the possible effects of 7-keto on t3? Or the new forms of HCA that may be far more effective?

However, I can see that the Ten Tip guide will not make everyone happy, I do think the figures I gave for fat loss and how to go about that are not found anywhere else and are based on years of experience on my part. Anyway, it’s hard to make everyone happy but I do my best, and we do want the buyers of this new e-book to be happy. Thanks for your remarks. I think you bring up a good point. The book is designed to explain once and for the facts (i.e., what is it, what does it do, what does the research say, what does the real world say, dose, warnings, etc) about the weight loss nutrients already available, not necessarily to uncover new and novel compounds never seen before. It does not cover sub-Q yohimbine injections of forskolin enemas. My feeling is that the vast majority of people out there, say better than 90%, buying supplements still don’t have a clue as to what works and what does not work regarding supplements that already exist. If they did, there would not be so many bottles of junk sold now would there? MFW types are a particularly well informed group, but the rest of the world is not. The news groups and my email box, are still filled with questions about pyruvate, chitosan, DHEA, and other products, so I know confusion is still rampant. I felt those people could really benefit from an easy to read concise look at what is on the shelves already from someone they can trust to get the straight scoop. There is a ton of information about weight loss on the internet, and most of it is wrong I do feel even most well informed people will still learn a few tricks they didn’t know, but the fact is, it’s not a book written for the “hard core” crowd and I made that clear in the email I sent out to people telling them about the book. I am not looking for people to buy it and be unhappy, though I think most people will be pleased with the information. It’s also not a diet book per se. It’s a look at weight loss nutrients combined with an easy to follow Ten Tip Guide to Fat Loss and people should realize that also. So, for well informed bodybuilder types who really know their stuff, this may not be the book for them. For the other 95% plus people in the world who are constantly bombarded with BS about these nutrients, this book will clear it all up for them. Spam off.
